Dove Pro Age Nourishment Body Butter

So anyone who knows me and my blog remotely, will know I'm absolutely mad about body butters. They're excellent for keeping my skin moisturised, smelling lovely and giving it a dewy touch. I'm usually such a fan of the Body Shop ones, I love the range of flavours, but sometimes I feel the moisture sort of sticks to my skin for quite a while after application, meaning that if I'm out a lot of excess dust, etc will stick to my skin.

However I've found one that doesn't do this at all, the Dove Pro Age Nourishment Body Butter is fabulous, it gives a dewey and luminous touch to your skin, immediate hydration and a lightly scented floral smell. In the other pro age nourishment lotions and creams I've found the scent far too strong. (I tend to stay away from strong scents and chemicals in body care as my sensitive skin doesn't agree with them too often) However in the body butter the scent is light and refreshing.

My arm before application, you can note the small red bumps which are a symptom of my dry skin.

My arm 5 minutes after application, you can see that the butter has been absorbed by my skin and reduced the appearance of the red spots, the skin isn't greasy or oily, an effect of over hydration.

I'm so impressed with the body butter, it leaves your skin with flawless hydrarion, far better than that of The Body Shop or Boots, and is available retailing for the low budget price of £5.99. Excellent value and a must have for anyone concerned about wrinkles, or simply anyone who wants to find an improved method of hydrating their skin.

So how is everyone? I hope you've noticed my new header! I absolutely love it. The layout has changed a bit too but don't worry the blog is staying the same, I'm back to university to be overloaded with work this week, so if there is a sudden lack of posting I do apologise! Please follow me on twitter if you'd like to keep better updated.

Lord Mayor's Fashion Show

I was lucky enough to be asked to city hall a few weeks ago for Boris Johnson's fashion show, a charity effort of various designers, make up artists and hair stylists for the employees of the mayor.

Hair was thanks to the ever so lovely Earth Salon boys of Carrot Top PR.

Make up was due to the very talented and well equipped girls of the Academy of Film and Make Up.

They created some gorgeous smokey eyes and nude lips in a very metallic look for the models.

I was lucky enough to be invited backstage to cover the event for you lovely people! I chatted with the models, saw the looks being styled, met the designers and covered the show with my camera.

How was your new years? I always find it's such an overhype but this year was actually okay! Everyone is back from university at the moment so it's been lovely catching up with old friends and somehow ended up in an abandoned hotel in mayfair. Random or what?!

Hope you're all lovely
