Medwinds S/S Launch

So wednesday night saw Barcelona bred brand Medwinds celebrate their UK launch! I was lucky enough to be invited by @Medwinds_UK to their pop up shop at The Cube PR HQ and have a look at the collection.

It was a bit of a breath of fresh air as I walked into the place, the collection oozed of summer, there was something so beach like and relaxing about it, yet some pieces were so heavily inspired by Barcelona street style in such a beautiful way.

Womenswear was lush! It was so relaxed and decadent, yet sophisticated at the same time. Fell slightly in love with Medwinds' choice of leather bags (their leather is the most breathtaking I've ever seen). It's perfect relaxed lounge wear with a European sultry edge.

Menswear was just incredibly cool. Block colours, occasional patterns rolled up cuffs it was hipster with an edge, my boyfriend really doesn't know what he's in for the next time he agrees to go on a shopping trip with me!

In terms of footwear I found their shades, shapes and range of straps and studs quite inspiring. There was such an array and it was so typically Spanish in the best way possible. My personal favourites are the studded, backless leather wedges. Adaptable for any season and any outfit, and so so beautiful.

Medwinds were kind enough to give me this lovely purse as a parting gift and sample of the collection. The leather is amazing, as I said before, it has so many compartments that I was almost spoilt for choice!
So if you're looking for some urban chic looks to add to your summer attire I would strongly recommend that you be ahead of the crowd and hop to medwinds, before the whole of the UK discover the Spanish secrets.

Hope you're all lovely!

Ivory Summer!

So this summer the resort collections have well and truly shown us that white is right, it's always nice when fashion makes a return to some simplicity that everyone can join in on. The return from modern patterns and prints to block colours and whites is rather a refreshing one and the high street has most definitely caught on, with these outfits from Dorothy Perkins, Topshop and Zara.
